Salary: £35,000 to £37,000 per year, plus use of company vehicle
Contract: Permanent, full-time position,
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours’ per week

As Transport Compliance Manager, your focus will be on motivating and developing the transport team, fostering personal and team growth opportunities, and ensuring that our employees are equipped with the necessary skills and support to deliver an exceptional service. Our aim to provide the most safe and secure working environment to ensure that all employees are comfortable and confident in their role.
Being responsible for communicating job expectations to the team, monitoring and evaluating job performance, providing coaching and support, you will help to improve systems, policies and productivity across the transport team. We are looking for a candidate with excellent knowledge of road transport legislation, coupled with a genuine passion for staying updated on industry changes and developments,
You will be well organised, with a proven ability to manage your time and workload effectively. Coupled with excellent IT competency, you will be confident handling multiple responsibilities and effectively prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and deliver results.
It is essential that the successful candidate;
- Hold, or willing to work towards, a current Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Demonstrate a high level of Information Technology competency
- Show confidence leading and influencing a team to deliver positive outcomes
- Have appreciation, or developing awareness, of the complexities of a multi-functional operation and a diverse and multi-skilled workforce

Our Offer
We are offering a salary of up to £37,000 per year depending on experience, on a full-time, permanent contract. You will receive 20 days’ holiday per year, plus bank holidays, to 25 days’ with continuing employment. Responsible to the Transport Services Manager, the successful candidate will join a passionate and supporting management team, with some direct line-management responsibility.
