Would you consider yourself a confident people-person with a keen eye for detail? Do you enjoy being in different working environments, meeting different teams and individuals across the County? In this role you will be working across our sites in North Yorkshire, responsible for weighing and measuring vehicles and containers, whilst accurately recording information onto our database.

“Our people are the key to our success”

A confident speaker, happy to interact with customers and contractors, you will be the first point of contact to anyone visiting our sites. You are someone who would want you to take pride in your work, with great attention to detail, wanting to provide a helpful, safe and positive experience for our customers.

You will be proficient using IT systems including Microsoft Office suite, and understand how to create reports, raise purchase orders, and process financial data.  It would be desirable if you have experience using a system such as PurGo, however we are happy to provide dedicated training to the right candidate.

We require you to have a current Drivers Licence and access to personal transport, as this role will require you to work from different sites, not accessible by public transport. Your regular place of work and base will be Thirsk, and travel costs to other sites will be covered, as well as use of company van, on occasion when required.

You may currently be in a customer service role, seeking more variety in your day-to-day duties, or would like to build on your administrative skills without stepping away from regular customer interaction. If you feel that this role could be for you, we would love to hear from you.
