Location: Based at Thirsk – but will cover any of our weighbridges as required
Hours: 45 hours per week (full time)
Salary: £13.00 per hour
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, Mobile Weighbridge Operator / Administrator to join our team.
A position has become available for a Weighbridge Operator / Administrator working throughout North Yorkshire, covering holidays and sickness within our weighbridge team.
Applicant must have a valid driving license and access to a vehicle as this role does require moving to other sites, which are often remote from public transport.
Reporting directly to the Site Administration Controller and the Transfer Operations Manager the successful candidate will undertake duties associated with the Weighbridge Operation and delivering key administration tasks for the team.
The successful candidate must be IT proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
Previous experience of working on a Weighbridge and background knowledge of Environmental Legislation would be an advantage, although full training will be given.
A committed and flexible approach is also required as this is a 7 day operational site and weekend working would be required occasionally.
