As the face of our operation, you will help ensure consumer waste and recycling reaches its destination, whether it’s a transfer station or waste recovery centre.

You will be confident communicating with the Depot and Customer Service Centre, reporting non-collections, anomalies with routes, vehicle defects, and other critical information to maintain our service standards.

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have a good understanding of the Yorkshire area, and although it would be desirable to have experience in collections and routes, we are committed to train a successful candidate with the willingness to learn and develop.

Working outside and in a manual environment, this role can be physically demanding. You will be required to load and manoeuvre heavy waste containers onto a vehicle lifting mechanism, plus handle and move other items as required.

It is desirable that you have a full UK Driving Licence, as you may be required to travel between sites during your work day. For further details of the role, please read the Job Description – Loader.
