Location: Hybrid working, from home and our Northallerton office

Are you a positive and self-motivated individual looking for a flexible position to work with your lifestyle? We are looking for an assistant to join our small and friendly finance team at Yorwaste, to support in various areas of financial administration and data input.
You will be able to demonstrate good communication skills and attention to detail when communicating with internal and external contacts, including senior managers and customers. Drawing on experience within another administrative position, it would be advantageous to have knowledge of the operations of a financial department, including payroll, purchase ledger and bank reconciliations.
You will need to be confident in creating documents and reports which require good grammar and numeracy abilities. You will also have great IT skills, being able to confidently use Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook.
Yorwaste is looking to create a working schedule that works around you. Mainly based at home, we would ask that half a day per week is spent in our Northallerton office, to add that face-to-face time into your schedule. Working 18 hours a week, you will be able to create a schedule with the manager to work around you, within regular business hours.

This is a fixed-term role working part-time, 18 hours per week. The main office location will be Northallerton, however we do currently operate a hybrid-working model allowing working from home and our office location as part of your working week.
