We are looking for an experienced sales professional with the positive attitude and target-driven passion to hit the ground running in our small, dedicated team.
Playing a key role in developing new sales in your designated territory, you will aim to grow and promote the various collection modes on offer at Yorwaste. You will also manage new accounts to make sure that our customer’s needs and requirements are met while offering additional value to the customers through a proactive customer contact strategy.
Your desire to succeed will drive you to generate leads and build relationships with individuals in the area and solidify these relationships and ensure customer satisfaction is exceeded. The knowledge you have about what Yorwaste can offer equips you with the ability to identify further beneficial services that helps us continue to grow.
We are looking for the following essential skills;
- Understanding of IT systems, in particular Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Excellent customer relationship management and focus on the customer journey
- Great written and verbal communication
- Experience in a field-sales position, working towards targets and goals
- Provision of examples using pro-active sales strategies and initiative
- Possession of a current, valid and clean UK driving licence
- Ability to work to deadlines and goals in a pressured environment

This position is predominantly field-based, with the expectation that the majority of the workday will be spent visiting and talking with clients, as well as managing workload from home. There will be the expectation to attend the office for an initial training period and face-to-face time with the team, which will see you progress into the field and hybrid working once comfortable and confident.
