About the Role

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an Administrator / Weighbridge Support to join us on a Fixed Term Contract basis.  Helping with the weighing of vehicles in and out of our Yorwaste sites, you will also be responsible for key administrative duties. The role is based from our Thirsk site, and will require you to work at other Yorwaste sites as required.


Your Responsibilities

You will be raising purchase orders, liaising with other departments to resolve queries and running reports from multiple systems. All of these responsibilities will make you an important team player in making Yorwaste North Yorkshire’s leading waste management provider.


Qualifications, experience and skills required

We require the candidate to hold a current driving licence and access to transport due to the location of our sites.  Some knowledge of IT systems such as Microsoft Office or Sage is essential. Knowledge of working with a weighbridge would be desirable. We want people who are enthusiastic, take pride in their work and can provide excellent customer service.

·       We offer an hourly rate of £10.45 per hour with £20 additional weekend allowance, and £30 Bank Holiday allowance. This is paid in addition to your hourly rate.

·       20 days holiday, plus bank holidays (rising to 25 after 5 years’ service).
