In 2025, Yorwaste provided 73 bins on the Marathon route and 20 at the event’s village. Excellent communication means that if requirements change at any stage these can be accommodated.
If there are any challenges where we have to move some bins around, it's an easy conversation with the team. It means we don't need to stress about things on the event weekend.

Management of multiple marathon events
Yorkshire Marathon isn’t the only event that Run For All organises. They hold marathons elsewhere that require waste collection services.

Expanding relationship with waste contractor
Yorwaste can service across North Yorkshire, covering any events within the area.
Run For All started their relationship with Yorwaste through the York 10k.
We are expanding our events as well and we're certainly continuing our partnership. We've been really pleased with Yorwaste over the past couple of years. To put it quite simply, we couldn't do the events without them.
