Our guiding principal is to provide our customers with sustainable, innovative and economical waste recycling solutions. These principals reflect some of the objectives of European & UK legislation such as EU Sustainable Development Strategy & UK Waste Strategy. Some of the primary aims of both strategies are centred around sustainable development by meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs & the principal of decoupling waste growth from economic growth by placing more emphasis on waste prevention and re-use.

Yorwaste offer a comprehensive range of services to help customers reuse, recycle more of their waste, reducing their reliability upon landfill & their environmental impact. We have introduced many new services to assist our customers reduce their impact on the environment, enabling them to send out very clear, positive environmental messages to their employees, neighbours, customers or stakeholders.

Our methology is based upon two fundamental elements. Firstly by establishing proposals with our customers on very clear business principles. We work very closely with our customers to clearly understand their business aims, waste management or environmental objectives & develop programmes based on those objectives. Secondly by developing long term relationships with our customers we can create and demonstrate long term value to their business.

Our philosophy is to undertake a comprehensive Waste Audit & then jointly formulate a unique Waste Strategy. Within that strategy we incorporate clear Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic & Timed targets. If required we can facilitate internal work groups & identify key people to champion your strategy. Pivotal to the strategy is the reporting mechanism, our IT systems can provide a 360 degree assessment & provide clear audit trails & regular management reporting. Finally, not resting on our laurels we can then implement a continuous improvement plan by periodically reviewing the strategy & identify new opportunities to minimise, reuse or recycle more waste.
