Yorwaste has been working in partnership with a number of local authorities from across the region, delivering integrated waste management solutions to meet the requirements of existing and future waste legislation. Yorwaste's approach to all its Local Authority service contracts is to tailor services to very specific local needs.

The company manages waste collected from households within each local authority area, at recycling, composting and integrated waste management sites across North Yorkshire and the City of York.

Our contract services include household waste recycling centre management, waste transportation, recycling, operation of materials recycling facilities, composting, WEEE, kerbside collections and landfill disposal.

Through a range of contracts Yorwaste is helping its local authority customers meet key government performance targets, particularly in recycling and the diversion of waste from landfill.
