Yorwaste Limited is a company based in North Yorkshire specialising in creating our customers environmentally sound waste management solutions.
Our guiding principal is to provide our customers with sustainable, innovative and economical waste recycling solutions with unrivalled customer service. Our aim is to demonstrate that managed waste solutions can help customers reduce costs, communicate positive messages to their employees, customers, neighbours & stakeholders whilst covering any legislative conditions.
One of our major strengths is that we offer a comprehensive collection service and a wide range of local in-house waste processing solutions which uniquely provides our customers with an uncomplicated and transparent audit trail. Our comprehensive range of waste processing operations ultimately means that we can tailor our services to reflect our customer’s needs, management processes, budgets and environmental aspirations. The proximity of our processing facilities invariably means that the number of waste miles are kept to a minimum and our customers ultimately benefit from the associated reduction in the carbon footprint from vehicle movements.
Yorwaste is acutely aware of its responsibilities when operating in such an environmentally sensitive industry and is committed to establishing and maintaining the very highest standards of environmental performance. It is maintained by an extensive programme of both internal and external audits and the visible commitment of all employees.
We manage in excess of one million tonnes of waste each year on behalf of our customers and generate around 6 Mega Watts of electricity from landfill gas across our sites & intend to extend this across further sites in the future.
